2 C sugar
1 C boiling water
2 C cake flour (measure before sifting)
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp vanilla
ICING:
2 2/3 Cups powdered sugar
1/2 C butter
6 Tbsp cream
1 tsp vinegar
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Beat eggs well. Slowly add sugar and beat for 20 minutes. Add boiling water. Add flour which has been sifted four times with baking powder and cream of tartar. Add vanilla. Pour into ungreased 9x13-inch pan. Bake in preheated oven at 325º for 32 minutes. Cool thoroughly; cut into 24 squares.
ICING:
Mix together and beat well. Spread icing on all sides of each square and roll in ground peanuts (dry roasted unsalted).

Donna's Notes: I baked at 345 degrees for 40-45 minutes. I really like rolling the cake squares in coconut.
