7 Egg yolks
1/2 C sugar
1 tsp lemon
8 Egg whites
1 tsp cream of tartar
Pinch of salt
1 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 C cake flour
Directions:
Directions:
Beat 7 egg yolks until lemon color with 1/2 C sugar and 1 tsp lemon.
Beat 8 egg whites with 1 tsp cream of tartar, pinch of salt, 1 C of sugar and 1 tsp vanilla. Fold in the egg yolk mixture into the beaten white mixture; fold in 1 C cake flour. Bake as an angel food cake.
