"As viscous as motor oil swirled in a swamp, redolent of burnt bell peppers nested in by incontinent mice and a finish reminiscent of the dregs of a stale can of Coca-Cola that someone has been using as an ashtray. Not a bad drink, though."--Excerpt from "The Moose Turd Wine Tasting" by T. A. Nonymous

Directions:
Directions:
Line a baking sheet with foil.
Arrange bacon slices on the foil and place on center rack in a cold oven.
Close oven and turn on to 400º.
Walk away and come back 17 - 20 min later. As soon as the bacon is golden brown, but not excessively crisp, it's done. The exact time will depend on the thickness of the bacon slices and also how quickly your oven reached the target temp.
Remove the pan from the oven.
Transfer bacon to another pan lined with paper towels.(Be sure to remove the bacon from the hot pan immediately.)

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You can slightly undercook the bacon, cool it and then freeze it in a zipper bag. To reheat, cook 2 slices in the microwave on med power for 30 sec.
