2 ripe avocados
1 tsp. lime juice
1 Roma tomato finely diced and excess water drained
2 to 3 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
2 thinly sliced green onion carefully cleaned. White and slightly green part only
Half fresh jalapeno, seeds and veins removed, finely diced
Sprinkle of salt and/or Tony Chachere’s season salt
Frank’s Red Hot sauce

I used Mom’s recipe for many years, until I had guacamole made table-side at a Mexican restaurant in Washington DC. One of the things I really liked about this recipe is that they didn’t smash up the avocados as much, that plus the addition of cilantro. Yum!
