2 ½ cups flour
½ teaspoons soda
½ tsp. baking powder
½ cup oleo
½ cup butter
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs (beaten slightly)
1 cup peanut butter
2 teaspoons vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, soda, baking powder, and salt. Cream butter and sugar but not until fluffy. Add eggs, and peanut butter. Mix well. Add flour. Knead in bowl long enough to form smooth dough. Roll into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheets, press with a fork into a cross pattern. Bake at 375° 10 to 12 minutes.

Personal Notes:
One of my first baking responsibilities . . . do the fork design on the top of peanut butter cookies. It helps to dip the fork into flour so that it doesn't stick to the cookie dough.
