1 #2 1/2 can sliced peaches or 4 large fresh peaches
3 tbsp margarine
3/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp corn starch

Directions:
Directions:
Butter a 9x9x2 baking pan. Place peaches on bottom of pan. Cream sugar and margarine. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt. Add the dry ingredients and milk to the creamed mixture, starting and ending with dry ingredients. Spread this batter over peaches.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and corn starch
Pour 1 cup boiling water over batter.
Bake in 350º oven for 1 hour. in a 9x9
Serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
