1 cup sugar
½ cup shortening
2 eggs
3 bananas, mashed
½ cold water
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. soda
¼ tsp. salt
¾ cup walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl, combine sugar and shortening, with electric mixer. Beat in eggs. Add bananas and water mix well. Add flour, baking powder, soda, salt and walnuts. Mix well with mixer. Pour into sprayed 9x5 loaf pan. Bake at 350º for 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Makes one loaf.
