5 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp flour
1 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp salt

Bread:
2 c flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 (15 oz) can Pumpkin Puree
1 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1 c sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
4 oz cream cheese
4 eggs
1/4 c buttermilk

Topping: Combine the first five ingredients and using fingers mix all ingredients together in bowl until the topping resembles wet sand. Set aside

Bread: Whisk flour, baking powder and baking soda together. Combine pumpkin puree, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook mixture, stirring constantly until reduced to 1 1/2 cups (6-8 minutes). Remove pot from heat.

Stir in sugars, oil and cream cheese until combined. Let stand for 5 minutes. Whisk until no visible pieces of cream cheese. Whisk together egg and buttermilk, then add to the pumpkin mixture. Fold pumpkin mixture into the flour. Pour into 2 lined and greased baking pans. Sprinkle with topping. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 45 - 60 minutes. Let cool in pans for 20 minutes. Cool on rack for 1 1/2 hours.
