1/2 cup of uncooked rice
1lb ground beef or turkey
11/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tbsp minced onion
2 tbsp oil (Great Grandma Reynolds put in Crisco!)
1 cup canned tomato soup
1 cup hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Combine rice, beef or turkey, salt, pepper,onion. Mix and shape in small meatballs.
Brown balls in oil in a heavy frying pan. Add the tomato soup and water.
Cover and cook 11/2 hours over a low heat until rice is tender. These are real good!
