Ingredients:
Ingredients:
PECAN CUPS:
1 stick of butter
3 oz. of cream cheese
1 cup flour

PECAN FILLING:
1 cup pecans
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp butter

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter and cream cheese for the pecan cups, add flour. Using a wooden spoon, mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls and drop into small muffin pan cups. Press dough to the sides of the cup to form a dough cup.

Next, mix all the pecan filling ingredients well. Fill cups even to the top of the dough shell-no higher or they will stick to the pan.

Bake at 375 for 20 minutes-don't under bake.

Wait 5 minutes or so before removing them from the pan. If they are too warm they will crumble when you try to remove them from the pan. Cool completely and sprinkle with powder sugar. Yummy!!!

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
You can use walnuts if you prefer. Use the tip of a sharp paring knife to loosen and lift them out of the pan-gently. The cups should come right out.
