1 c. flour
3/4 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
2 tbsp. salad oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)

1/4 c. cocoa
1 c. brown sugar
1 3/4 c. hot water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, and salt in an ungreased square pan. Add milk, salad oil, vanilla and nuts. Spread evenly in the pan. Sprinkle with cocoa, brown sugar, hot water.
Bake 40 min at 350 º. Let stand 15 min. before serving with ice-cream. Top with the self made sauce.

I double the recipe and bake in a 9 x 13 pan.
Also can be made in microwave oven. Be sure the water is boiling hot. Use a 2 qt. glass casserole. Cook uncovered 8-10 min until no longer doughy.
