4 # pork country-style ribs
1 C chopped onion
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 C cooking oil
1 8oz can tomato sauce
1/4 C brown sugar, packed
1/4 C lemon juice
2 T Worcestershire sauce
2 T prepared mustard
1 tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Cook ribs, covered, in enough boiling salted water to cover, 45 to 60 minutes or until tender. Drain.

Cook onion and garlic in oil until tender. Stir in tomato sauce, next 5 ingredients, 1/2 C water, 1 tsp salt, and 1/4 tsp pepper. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes; stir once or twice.

Place cooked ribs in utility dish and cover with barbecue sauce. Bake at 325ºF for 1 hour, basting every 15 minutes.

Can also cook ribs on grill.
