1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup soft butter
2 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. cloves
1 cup boiled raisins
1/4 cup boiled raisin water
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. soda
3/4 tsp. baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown.

Sift dry ingredients.

Blend butter and sugar. Add eggs and beat until smooth. Add raisin water with soda.

Add sifted flour, salt, spices, and baking powder.

Drop from a spoon onto greased cookie sheet.
