2 cakes compressed yeast
1/4 cup warm water
2 cups boiling water
1/2 cup sugar
1 cup lard
1 teaspoon salt
6 cups unsifted flour
Directions:
Directions:
2 cakes compressed yeast dissolved in 1/4 cup warm water. Pour 2 cups boiling water over 1/2 cup sugar, 1 cup lard & 1 teaspoon salt. When luke warm, add yeast & 6 cups unsifted flour. Kneed until smooth. Let raise. Make into any kind of roll. Raise & bake in a quick oven.
