2 cans asparagus
1/2 milk
4 tbls butter melted
4 hard boiled eggs sliced
4 tbls flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 cup grated colby cheese
1/3 cup cracker crumbs
1 1/2 cups asparagus juice

Directions:
Directions:
Drain asparagus but save juice. Add enough milk to make 2 cups. Melt butter in sauce pan. Add flour salt and pepper. Mix until smooth- add milk and juice- Stir constantly over low heat until thickens. Cover and remove from heat. Grease casserole dish. Layer 1/2 of the asparagus, 2 of the sliced eggs, 1/2 sauce and 1/2 cheese. Repeat and then top with cracker crumbs,, pour melted butter on and bake in preheated oven at 425 degrees for about 20 minutes.
