1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
3 c. water
1 c. real butter
1/8 tsp. salt
3/4 tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. unwhipped cream

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together except cornstarch in saucepan and bring to a boil. When mixture boils, thicken cornstarch. Add the cream (it will curdle if added before mixture thickens). Serve warm over carrot pudding, white cake or ice cream.
