1/2 cup butter
1 package (3 oz) cream cheese
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
2 teaspoons almond extract
2 teaspoons brandy
1 1/4 cups unsifted all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
5 cups (14 oz pkg) flaked coconut
19 oz package Hershey's chocolate kisses

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, cream cheese, and sugar in a large bowl.
Add egg yolk, almond extract, and brandy beating well.
In separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder.
Gradually add flour to creamed mixture, blending well.
Stir in 3 cups of coconut and chill 1 hour.

Shape dough into 1-inch balls.
Roll balls in the remaining 2 cups coconut.
Place on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten with a fork.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom.

Remove from oven. Press an unwrapped kiss into the center of each cookie. Return to oven for 15 seconds. Carefully remove cookies from cookie sheet.
