Ingredients: 4 tbsp Butter 3 tbsp Flour, ( Approximately) 2 C. Milk 2 cans of Tuna Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions: |
Directions:Melt butter in a pan on medium heat. Add the flour 1 tbsp at a time to the melted butter and whisk until a thick paste is obtained. (real cooks call it a rue). Add the milk slowly and whisk together until smooth and no longer lumpy. It should be creamy white gravy. Bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer a few minutes to cook the flour. Add 2 cans of Tuna and continue to cook until heated through. Serve over Mashed Potatoes or Toast. Salt and pepper to taste. |

Notes: This white gravy is the beginning of many things. Add chipped beef and the Army called it Shit on a shingle. Add cooked country sausage and serve it over a biscut and you got Biscuits and Gravey. Famous in the south. Delano can't seem to figure out who would eat gravy for breakfast. They would have to be nuts. Here is one for you!! Take some fried hashbrown potatoes in the center of a large plate, Put a buttermilk biscuit in the center of them and cover with sausage gravy. Add 3 fried eggs on top of that, salt and peper to taste. EAT FAST this is a heart attack waiting to happen.
