1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar (firmly packed)
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs (beaten)
1 cup peanut butter. (I use the one with nuts)
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening, sugars, and vanilla. Add beaten eggs, and beat thoroughly. Stir in Peanut Butter. Combine dry ingredients, and stir into the creamed
mixture. Drop by small teaspoonful onto ungreased cookie
sheet. Press with floured fork to make crisscross design. Bake at 350 degrees 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned. Makes about 6 dozen.
