2 c. sugar
1 3/4 c. flour
3/4 c. cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
2 eggs
1 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Combine dry ingredients in large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, beat on medium speed for 2 minutes, scrape bowl half way through. (batter will be thin) Fill 24 cupcakes 2/3 full. Bake 15 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely and frost with favorite frosting.
