21/3 cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp.cinnamon
1/4 tsp.nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 cups sugar
1 cup butter, softened
1 egg
2 tsp pure vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
MIX flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg & salt
Beat sugar & butter with electric mixer until light & fluffy
Add egg & vanilla, mix well - gradually beat in flour mixture
on low speed until well mixed - refrigerate 2 hours or overnight

ROLL out dough on lightly floured surface to 1/8 inch thickness
Cut into shapes with cookie cutters - place on greased baking
sheets

BAKE 375F oven 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned
Cool 1 minute - remove to wire rack- cool completely -
decorate with icing
