Well to start Grandpa never had amounts down. You have to make it to taste! A bottle of ketchup (Grandpa used Brocks, if you can find it). Some dry mustard, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, molasses, all to taste and just a dash of Tabasco.

Add ketchup to brown sugar and taste. Add a little more and taste it. This is what takes time to get it right. Add all other ingredients to taste also. What I have found is that you have to have all the ingredients to get it right miss one and it wont taste right.
