3 cups cooked sweet potatoes, mashed & cooled
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 /3 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla (but I always add more)
½ cup butter or margarine

Topping:

1 cup finely chopped pecans
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350. Mix sweet potatoes, sugar, eggs, milk, vanilla, and butter with a hand mixer until blended. Pour into greased shallow 2-quart baking dish.
2. Blend pecans, brown sugar, flour, and butter with fork until it forms small, even-colored crumbs. Top sweet potato mixture evenly with crumb topping.
3. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes.
