1/2 C sugar
1 C milk
1/2 c water (warm)
5 C flour
1 TBL salt
2 pkg. yeast
2 eggs
butter (the size of an egg)
7 cardamom seeds

Directions:
Directions:
Scald milk, add butter and sugar. Stir well and set aside to cool. Dissolve 2pkg. yeast in warm water. (Stir well) add milk in which butter and sugar has been added. Stir well to mix yeast with milk. Add two slightly beaten eggs. Add flour and salt, one cup at a time. Stir well and cover until risen twice in size. Turn out on floured board. Knead 20 times, cut and shape into rolls. Put in greased pans and raise until doubled in bulk, about 1-1 1/2 hrs. Bake 375 degrees. Turn out on towel to cool.
