BBQ Garlic Teriyaki Chicken Recipe

Ingredients: 2 bottles Golden Dragon thick teriyaki sauce 6-8 full fresh chicken breasts or thighs 3 cloves of garlic graham wafers or plain salted crackers (for less sweetness) Clubhouse Garlic Plus seasoning 1 tsp salt ~2 tsp pepper

Directions:Pulverize graham wafers (or salted crackers) finely to fill approximately ¾ - 1 ¼ cup. Add to medium or larger mixing bowl. Pour approx. 1 ¾+ bottles of teriyaki sauce into bowl, mixing as you add. Stir in 2 tbsp of Garlic Plus seasoning. Press in all garlic pieces individually, mixing thoroughly in between. Stir in salt and pepper. Mix thoroughly. Cut chicken down to preferred portion sizes and tenderize with mallet. Prepare large enough dish for all chicken portions with a layer of sauce on the bottom. Dip each piece of chicken in sauce completely before putting in dish. Pour most or all of remaining sauce over dish covering chicken in a nice layer before covering and putting into fridge to marinade. Please allow to marinade for 12+ hours (up to 24 hours).
BBQ on medium-high about 6-10 min.(depending on portion size). Flip. Continue on medium heat for 5-8 min. |
