1/2 C salt pork, cubed
2 C juice from quahogs
1/4 lb. butter
1 3/4 C chopped onions
2 1/2 C potatoes, cubed
2 C celery, chopped
1 bay leaf, quartered
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. Accent
4 C milk
1 C evaporated milk
1 sour cream

Directions:
Directions:
Saute pork cubes until crisp. Pour off fat. Set aside. Saute onions in butter until transparent. Do not brown. Remove from heat. Stir in flour; gradually add clam juice. Add potatoes, celery, and seasonings. Simmer until potatoes are almost tender. Add chopped clams and cook for 5 min. more. Scald regular milk and remove from heat. Add to it the evaporated milk and sour cream. Beat with a whisk or beater until well blended. Add to potato mixture. Heat 5 min. Remove bay leaf. Top with remaining butter and pork bits.
