2 Cups Margarine
4 Cups Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Tsp Almond Extract
2/3 Cup Sesame Seeds
2/3 Cup Candied Cherries (cut in half)

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl beat margarine and sugar until light and fluffy. Add almond extra, flour, salt and continue beating until well mixed. Put in covered bowl and chill for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll in sesame seeds. Place on un-greased cookie sheet. Press candied cherry half into center of each cookie. Bake for 10 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes before removing to a wire rack to cool. Make about 6 dozen. Freeze up to 3 months.
