1 lb. smoked deli sausage, sliced & quartered
1 cup onion, finely diced
4 cups chicken broth
6 medium potatoes, diced small
2-10¾ cans cheddar cheese soup, undiluted
1-12 oz. cans evaporated milk
1 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
In 5-quart saucepan, saute sausage and onion on medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add chicken broth and potatoes, bring to a boil on medium-high heat. Lower to medium and cook until potatoes are fork tender. About 10 minutes. Add cheddar cheese soup, white pepper and milk. Cook until heated through and serve.
Makes about 8 servings.
