4 medium beets
water
1 pkg sure jel or other pectin
1 pkg raspberry kool aid or jello
4 c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beets well, cut off and discard tail and top. Cut beets into large chunks. Boil beets in about 4 cups of water until done, about 30 minutes. Measure out 3 cups of beet water into sauce pan. Add pectin and koolaid or jello. Bring to a hard boil for 2 minutes. Add sugar and boil for another 2 minutes. Process into jars using water bath method.
