3/4 cups margarine (softened)
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup molasses
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cloves
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl. In a medium bowl, mix together margarine, molasses and egg. Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients using a wooden spoon or spatula. Mix well. Drop small tbsp sized balls of dough onto a lightly greased cookie sheet or non stick pan. Bake for 8-12 min
