Ingredients:
Ingredients:
2 lbs stew beef
3 potatoes, diced uniform in size
1 large onion, diced
4-5 carrots, sliced
1/4-1/2 c milk
3 T flour
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Cook the stew meat, then add salt and pepper. I use a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 30-40 minutes. If cooking in boiler, cook until meat is tender. Make sure you have enough water for a lot of juice for the stew. Drain juice after meat is cooked and reserve juices. Add veggies to the juice, salt and pepper well, then cook veggies until tender. I pressure cook veggies for 3-5 minutes. Add flour to milk and blend well. Drain veggies and reserve juice. Put juice back in boiler, bring to boil, add flour/milk mixture. Let thicken. Add veggies and meat. Taste for seasoning.

Serve with hot biscuits!

Personal Notes:
I learned to cook Beef Stew like Mother did. I do not have a recipe so this is what I came up with. This is one of our Dad's favorites with hot biscuits!!!
