4 lb. pork spareribs
1 medium onion, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. cider vinegar
1/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. tomato paste
2 tbsp. paprika
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. ground yellow mustard
salt and ground black pepper

In 4 1/2 - 6 quart crockpot stir onion, ketchup, vinegar, sugar, tomato paste, paprika, Worcestershire, mustard, 1 tsp. salt and 1 tsp. pepper until combined.
Cut ribs into several large pieces, to fit in crockpot.
Add ribs to crockpot and spoon sauce over to coat.

Cover crockpot with lid and cook on low for 8 - 10 hours, or high for 4 - 5 hours.

Transfer ribs to platter. Skim and discard fat from cooking liquid. Spoon remaining sauce over ribs.
