4 cups strawberries, hulled (if they are large cut them in half)
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tbsp maple syrup
2 tbsp strawberry preserves/jam
2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 chipotle chili in adobo, chopped - optional for heat
1 tbsp garlic, grated
1 tbsp ginger, grated
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp dijon mustard
2 tbsp cilantro, chopped - or 2 tsp dired cilantro

PREHEAT oven to 425F

PREPARE a baking sheet lines with tin foil & place the strawberries in a single layer and roast in preheated oven until they start to caramelize, about 15-20 mins
.
BRING all ingredients except the cilantro to a boil, reduce the heat, simmer for 15 minutes, remove from heat

MIX in the cilantro and puree in a blender

OPTIONAL - Add 4 slices of cooked and crumbled bacon.
