For the salad:

2 T. sesame seed
1/2 c. sliced almonds
1/2 head cabbage, chopped
4 green onions, chopped
I pkg. top Ramen Noodles (chicken or vegetable)

For the dressing:

2 T. sugar
1/3 c. vegetable oil
Powder from the pkg. of noodles
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 T. apple cider vinegar
1 tsp. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Toast the seeds and almonds in the oven. Break noodles in the package before opening. Mix the ingredients for the salad, adding bite-sized bits of chicken or turkey, if desired. In a small bowl, mix the ingredients for the dressing. Pour dressing over salad just before serving and toss.

A dazzling and delicious substitute for the more standard coleslaw. Eat it often...make another batch from that other half of a cabbage.
