2 1/3 c sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c butter or margarine
2 1/2 c brown sugar, packed
3 eggs
1 cup chopped nuts
1 12 oz pkg semi- sweet chocolate pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Grease a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1" pan. Sift flour, baking powder, salt. In large saucepan, melt butter, stir in brown sugar. Cool 10 minutes Then add eggs one at a time until blended. Stir in flour mixture, nuts, and chocolate until blended. Spread in pan.

Bake 25-30 minutes or until center springs back when touched. Cool and cut into squares.
