1 6 oz pkg semi sweet chocolate pieces
1/4 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 c butter or margarine
1/2 firmly packed brown sugar
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup finely chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt chocolate pieces over hot, not boiling water, remove from heat. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Stir in melted chocolate. Sift flour and salt. Add walnuts, stir until blended. Shape into 1" balls. Place on ungreased baking sheet.

Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.

While warm, roll in granulated or sift confectioners sugar or in a cinnamon sugar mixture.

Makes 5 dozen.
