1 peck (8 qts) green tomatoes chopped and drained
1/2 peck (4 qts) green apples juice and all
6 lbs brown sugar
1 cup vinegar
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp cloves
1 tbsp allspice
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 lbs raisins
2 lbs currants

Boil slowly (simmer) for three hours. Pour into hot jars and seal.
