1 lb butter
2-4 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1-2 Tbsp. hot sauce
1-2 Tbsp. garlic powder
1-2 tsp. onion salt
1-2 tsp. celery salt
1/2 box cheerios
1/2 box life cereal
1/2 box shreddies or wheat chex
1 bag pretzels
3 good sized cups of mixed nuts
1 bag of bugles
1 box cheese nips

Heat oven to 250ºF. Place butter in very large roasting pan and put in oven to melt while oven is preheating. Add all ingredients to a large bowl. Pour melted butter over and stir well to coat evenly with butter. Bake for 1 1/2 hour. Stir every 30 minutes

You can adapt this recipe anyway you want and add other things besides what I have suggested. This makes a great Christmas time treat and nice to give away in pretty containers.
