1 tbsp. oil
1 lb. sweet italian sausage, casings removed and cut up into small chunks
1 small onion, chopped
4 cloves of garlic, diced
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
2 (14-oz.) cans Italian diced tomatoes
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
12 oz. bow tie pasta, prepared according to package instructions

Directions:
Directions:
1) Sprinkle red pepper on sausage and brown for 2 minutes in oil.
2) Add onion and garlic and cook for 2 more minutes.
3) Add tomatoes and cream and simmer until thickened, about 8 minutes.
4) Add cooked pasta to pan and toss to coat.
Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh parsley (if desired) and call it a night!

I had just finished eating a three-hour five-course lunch at a lovely little french restaurant and rolled myself into the house when I heard, "what is for dinner"? This fast and easy meal was my answer.
