Ingredients: 1 lb. ground beef or ground turkey 1 onion, chopped 3 (16 oz.) cans Mexican Style Chili Beans* (undrained) 16 oz. can corn (undrained) 16 oz. can chopped tomatoes 15 oz. can tomato sauce 4.5 oz. can green chilies 1 1/4 oz. Taco seasoning packet 16 oz. dry Ranch salad dressing packet 1 1/2 c. water Shredded mexican cheese (monterey jack or cheddar) for garnish Tortilla chips for garnish

Directions: |
Directions:1) Brown ground beef or turkey in a skillet. Add onion and saute until translucent. 2) Transfer meat and onion to soup pot or slow cooker. Add beans and stir. 3) Add next 7 ingredients, stir. 4) Add the Ranch and Taco seasoning mixes, stir. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer 20-30 minutes on stove top or 4-6 hours in slow cooker set on "low". 5) Sprinkle with shredded cheese or tortilla chips.
*Mexican style chili beans can be found in most supermarkets' Mexican foods aisle. If not available, substitute with pinto beans and use two additional taco seasoning packets. |
