3 quarts peeled ground cucumbers
1/2 cup canning salt
3 onions, ground
3 large carrots, ground
1 tablespoon canning salt
5 cups sugar
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp mustard seed
½ tsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Cover ground cukes with water, add ½ cup canning salt. Let stand overnight or 3 hours. Drain and add rest of ingredients. Cover with vinegar (about 1 ½ cups). Boil and simmer 3 minutes. Pack in hot jars.
