2 cups sugar
2 cups shortening
4 eggs
1 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon extract optional
7-8 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
Cut shortening into flour, mix all other ingredients together. If you chill dough it is easier to work with but not necessary. Roll out and cut with shapes desired. Bake at 350º for 5 mins. Frost, decorate and have fun.

You can use orange or almond extract in place of lemon all are good. This also makes a Ton of cookies, often I just make a half batch of them.
