1 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups oatmeal
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 10 oz pkg chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening and sugars, add eggs and vanilla mix well. Combine all dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture, stir in oats, chips and nuts. Drop by teaspoon on to cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 10-12 mins.
