Pastry for 2 crust 9 inch pie
½ cup brown sugar, packed
¼ cup granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
¼ tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
¼ cup applejack
6 tart apples-peeled, cored and sliced
3 Tbsp. butter

Directions:
Directions:
Line 9 inch pie plate with crust. Combine sugars, cornstarch, nutmeg and salt. Stir in applejack and apples. Turn into pastry lined plate. Dot with butter. Adjust top crust. Crimp the edges and cut a couple of slits in the top for steam to escape. Bake at 400° for 45-50 minutes, until golden.
