4 cups flour
1/2 - 1/3 cup white sugar
5 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb butter (MomCoop used margarine)
raisins (optional)
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup of milk

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF.

Add first 5 ingredients in a large bowl. Rub together well. Mixture will look crumbly. Whish the eggs and add to mixture. Add vanilla and milk and raisins.

Form into a ball. Roll onto a floured surface and cut into circles.

Bake for 12 - 15 minutes or until lightly browned on the bottom.
