3 1/2 lb. ribs
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 tbsp. liquid smoke
2 cloves finely chopped garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 medium sliced onion
1/2 c. coke or cherry coke
1 1/2 c. barbecue sauce

Directions:

Spray the inside of slow cooker cooking spray.

Mix brown sugar, pepper, liquid smoke, garlic and salt and rub into ribs.

Cut ribs into 4" pieces and layer with sliced onion into slow cooker. Pour soda over top.

Cover and cook on low heat setting for 8-9 hours or until tender. Remove from cooker and drain liquid.

Dip ribs into a shallow bowl full of barbecue sauce and place back into drained slow cooker.

Cover with remaining barbecue sauce and cook on low heat for an additional hour.
