Ingredients:  
1 lb. light brown sugar
3/4 c. evaporated milk
2 c. pecan halves
1 1/2 tsp. rum or rum flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients, except rum flavor, in heavy saucepan.
Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until sugar dissolves.
Cook at medium heat to soft ball stage (236º).
Let cool slightly, 5 min., add rum flavoring.
Beat until thickened.
Drop on wax paper in smooth patties.
