BBQ Ribs with Mopping Sauce Recipe

Ingredients: 2 racks ribs (about 6 lbs)
Dry Rub : 1/2 c. barbecue seasoning 2T. brown sugar 2 tsp. cumin 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Mopping Sauce:
1 1/3 C. barbecue sauce 1/3 c. apricot spread 1/4 c. honey 2T.soy sauce 2 tsp. yellow mustard black pepper

Directions:1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line a broiler pan with foil. 2. Whisk dry ingredients for rub in a small bowl; rub on both sides of ribs. Transfer to prepared broiler pan rack; cover tightly with heavy duty foil. roast ribs 1 1/2 hours until meat between ribs is fork tender. 3.Combine mopping sauce ingredients in a 2 quart saucepan, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes until sauce has reduced slightly and thickened. 4. Heat outdoor grill to medium-high heat. Grill ribs mopping them with sauce and turning until slightly charred and glazed 10 to 12 minutes |

Notes: My Aunt Gloria made this for memorial day last year when I was down for a visit. It was so yummy!! Aunt Gloria has always been so good to me. We have never lived in the same state , but have always managed to keep in touch. She has always traveled up for special occasion's. Aunt Gloria and my Uncle and cousin's traveled to be there for us and to show love for Travis. It means so much to me to know ,that no matter what I have a family that has each others back.
