Directions:
Cut onion into ¼ inch rings and cut rings in half. Place in sealable storage bag with juice from lime and fajita seasoning. Marinate overnight or as long as you can up to 1 day. Place onions and butter in a large wok and on medium/high heat to caramelize to your liking. Grill chicken fajitas and cut into fajita strips. Take onions and chicken, place in food processor and pulsate until usable as a filling (coarse chop). Lay wonton wrapper on flat surface. Use water in a bowl and your finger to apply a light application of water on two adjacent sides of the wrapper. Place a teaspoon size portion of the fajita mixture in the center of the wrapper and fold diagonally to form triangle. Heat vegetable oil to 375 degrees and fry triangles till golden brown turning once. Lightly dust with smoky sweet paprika.

You may want you make a dipping sauce or use a prepared product like “That Green Sauce” from HEB

This is a delicious cross cultural appetizer made from chicken fajitas, onions and wonton wraps
