4 T. butter
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1/3 c. cream
1 c. powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a medium saucepan with 1/2 c. packed brown sugar, 1/3 c. cream and 1/4 tsp. salt. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Boil for one minute exactly, and then pull off the heat. Leave the pan to cool for a couple of minutes, and then gradually whisk in 3/4 c. to 1 c. powdered sugar until you have a thick, but pourable consistency. If the mixture seems too thick, just add a splash of cream to thin it out a little. Let the glaze set before serving the cake. (Use to top Applesauce Cake)
